"A book should serve as the ax for the frozen sea within us"

Inspiration comes from Anything. Today just the crisp autum ride from one end of the leaf littered campus to the other sparked my fingers to hit keys, creating a puddle of words no one reads but me. Lately, my life proceeds in segments of action- sips of coffee from burn colored mugs- internal debates on whether to go to the class I don’t understand (this one was the most recent…I chose to not go)- objecting to chairs- playing chicken with myself by seeing how long I can possibly ride my bike with no hands. Life has lifted me out of the complicated and into the simplicity of enjoying unimportant things- yes, I realize that important things should be considered, but they need not be all-consuming. Today my mom told me she was surely becoming a “crazy cat lady”… this makes me smile. I think about the ink I saw forever ingrained someone’s wrist as follows:

;…;

This punctuation translates to infinity. That makes me want to read, not only to read but also to stop reading the world from a single perspective and translation.wonderful.
It's sunny, and I'm going to go get tangled in the hammock and a beautiful book. The snow is about to fall, and my toes are twitching for the mountains.
