It Starts...
I've just returned from an epic, three and a half month venture into the heart of the South Pacific. More recently, I've returned from one of many highly chlorinated pools next to the ocean to a lofty hotel room in Kauai, Hawaii. I had become somewhat overcome by my recently acquired cynicism for the America Way Things Are and felt I needed to let it out somehow, and escaped to the keyboard of my dads computer. So here it is, a Blog. One which I never thought would exist, but one that sounds anonymous and forgiving now to which I can speak truthfully to. If anyone reads it, so be it. i guess it does't really matter.
I was told by a man in a Taro patch one day that whenever you visit somewhere, anywhere, leave it a better place. This remains true on the internet, and so if anyone does end up reading my rantings, thoughts, ideas, and emotions, I just hope they at least can see life from anothers perspective and from this form their own opinions and outlook on the world.
So, for anyone that does happen upon this, here is me: a lost soul hungry for something real, things to make me think and understand something, anything about life. I try to learn something from everyone I meet. I like rivers and photography, and hate litter and people that believe everything people have brought them up to believe. I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel in my life, and feel that with this blessing comes the responsibility to pass it onto others. Hopefully this blog proves useful on said responsibility. The past 4 months have been a crazy cyclone of sweat and scars and fish and tears and laughter and stray dogs and developing things about myself. It is with this experience I finally feel ready putting my life into words but caring not if anyone else reads them.
